Quail Cabin, built around 1910, looked like this before I started...

...and after rebuild, 2001. The cabin was dismantled and 80% of the logs were saved. The original cabin was built on dirt, therefore the bottom logs were replaced with local trees. A concrete slab was poured, new door and windows. I was able to save half of the shingles. The log chinking is a modern acrylic process.
